Detailed Tips

   Level 1 E Start - Try to cheese PTA proc or Conq with E1 > 3 auto's > disengage with E2.

   Play For Level 2/3 Kill Angle - Once you chunk out Nilah you're most likely able to kill her with your W, Dash or Flash up. Look to shove the wave around your kill timer, so you're able to make Nilah lose a lot more.

   Abuse Renekton's Early Game - In this match up Renekton is essentially able to do whatever he simply wants. With that said, really hone into your strong early to mid game strengths to help you dominate and win the game. Play to deny your enemy of gold and xp, play to proxy and generally lead any top side skirmishes with your insane lane advantage.

   Hold Renekton W Vs Nilah’s W - Nilah’s only way to prevent Renekton’s damage and trading power within fights, is using her W ability. Nilah’s W prevents all basic attack damage for 2.25 seconds, which also affects empowered auto attacks such as Renekton’s W. Within this time, you should refrain from using your W, as she will instantly cancel out the damage and hard counter you within these moments. Nilah’s W is 26 Seconds at rank 1, allowing you to punish her within your next W or E trade. Once Nilah has no W, you can always look to all in and kill her at will.

   Heavy Trades - Being that Renekton carries a lot of high damage, Renekton is able to just jump on his target nearly at will. Whenever your laners present you with the ability to jump on them, simply take the opportunity to burst them as much as you can. If you didn't kill them already from that, use your options of freezing or your tower diving ability to help you finish off your opponent.

   Play Waves Accordingly - Simply assess whether or not you want to play for freeze, to help you deny XP and CS, while presenting yourself more opportunities to create fights. Or, play to shove waves to create proxy angles, tempo resets or create a dive opportunity. Renekton has all the cards to do whatever he wants with wave management. Also respect that if your laner tries to proxy, simply proxy back or coordinate a kill on them with your jungler.

7. 07

   Respect Nillah R - Nilah’s R is similar to how Diana’s R works, in the sense she wants to dash or flash into the middle of a fight, with the intention of looking for a mass AoE R around her enemies. Nilah’s R provides her with a decent amount of damage, on top of pulling and slowing all her enemies around her. Nilah also heals from 20% to 50% HP based on each enemy hit, as well as converting it into a shield if she overheals. Overall Nilah’s strengths are essentially getting into the middle of a teamfight and using her R. As Renekton, we want to either shut her down with W before she can do that, or avoid clumping up with our teammates when she’s in position. Overall Nilah’s chances to do much are hard if Renekton holds W, so make sure to hold W to prevent her getting any additional value out of her R.

   Build Eclipse, Stridebreaker or Profane - Go Eclipse for consistent power through mid game and damage mitigation with the shield. / Go Stridebreaker to cripple Nillah's mobility and provide teammates with additional utility. / Go Profane for full damage focused playstyles.

9. 09

   Mid Game + Teamfighting Tips - Nilah’s overall chance to do much in the game is severely weaker in solo lane, giving up on her potential ability to play around a shield support or having an easier time in being able to scale in the game. Nilah’s kit is very weak into Renekton outside of her W, so most points and positions in the game if you can hold your W against her and prevent her blocking it with her W, she will not be able to do anything no matter what. Each 1v1 in side lane is practically suicide for her, so make sure to abuse your brute force power against her when she’s alone. Within teamfights, as mentioned she will only be able to look for R engages, so make sure to avoid her engages and hold W for when she’s in range.
