Xayah
Matchup Summary
Xayah is pretty easy to deal with as Renekton, as her kit is pretty hopeless within the solo lane. As Renekton simply try to play the wave states on your side of the map, eventually allowing you to look for fights as soon as your E is available. Renekton can make the lane really easy with Doran's Shield and Second Wind, as well as rushing Plated Steelcaps to make her damage non existent, or rushing straight damage to instantly kill her. Overall, Xayah cannot really do much against Renekton, allowing him to do whatever he wants within the match up.

Level 1 E Start - Try to cheese PTA proc or Conq with E1 > 3 auto's > disengage with E2.

Play For Level 2/3 Kill Angle - Once you chunk out Xayah you're most likely able to kill her with your W, Dash or Flash up. Look to shove the wave around your kill timer, so you're able to make Xayah lose a lot more.

Abuse Renektons’ Early Game - Abuse Renekton's Early Game - In this match up Renekton is essentially able to do whatever he simply wants. With that said, really hone into your strong early to mid game strengths to help you dominate and win the game. Play to deny your enemy of gold and xp, play to proxy and generally lead any top side skirmishes with your insane lane advantage.

Respect Xayah's E - Xayah's playstyle is all about using her feathers to apply damage and stun her target. Try to position away from the stun when trying to fight, or fight her after she uses it.

Quick Trades - E > Q > AA > W > AA > E Out / E > Q > W > E / E Q E - These combos allow for Renekton to get quick damage off in being able to keep health up and whittling his opponent down, use these to get your laner low and look for a low HP kill with flash.

Play Wave On Your Side - Playing the wave on your side essentially means playing wave states on your side of the map, via abusing wave manipulation tactics or freezing on your side of the map. Simply use this to help you combo on your laner, taking away any space from them being able to trade you back (This also helps prevent the enemy running you down with their extended or sustained movement speed abilities). You can also use this wave state to run down your opponent with your abilities up, helping you obtain kills a lot easier vs stalemate or ranged match ups. Look to do this when your opponents are below 50% HP, or potentially make a mistake to provide you an all in opportunity to run them down.

Abuse Renekton's R Powerspike - Once you reach level 6 your ultimate will essentially help you consistently stat check and dominate any match ups you were winning or losing. Make sure to always wait for your R CD to help you make plays, otherwise it will lead you towards a major disadvantage in dueling your enemies.

Build Plated Steelcaps, Eclipse, Stridebreaker or Profane - Go Plated Steelcaps to lower Xayah's overall damage / Go Eclipse for consistent power through mid game and damage mitigation with the shield. / Go Stridebreaker to cripple Xayah’s mobility and provide teammates with additional utility. / Go Profane for full damage focused playstyles.

Midgame + Teamfighting Tips - Xayah's power usually shows through her teamfighting prowess with her champion design, utilising her high feather damage and potential teammate buffs to help her pop off in the fights. One thing to note about Xayah is always watching her feather placement and being aware of her R. In the fights try to dive on top of Xayah to instantly force her R, preferably use one E then save E2 to dice behind her and avoid her stun. Xayah when isolated is very useless, so try to make plays when she is also separated from her team.
