Matchup Summary
Evenlynn's only strength as a top laner revolves around her level 1, where Evenylnn can force a Q trade on repeat to get Renekton low to help force her a kill. If Renekton avoids hard trading into Evelynn Level 1, Renekton can hard burst and chunk Evelynn each chance he gets to jump on her. When fighting Evelynn, try to avoid taking her charm damage as it amplifies the rest of her damage onto her target. When you're low, try to also avoid fighting or getting caught by her R, as it provides execution damage to instantly kill you before you're able to ult. Evelynn doesn't really have the pure strength to beat Renekton outside of him messing up, so make sure to always keep healthy and play optimally around her W CD. Once Evelynn is level 6, try to spam ping your laners of her missing whereabouts to avoid giving her free kills. Later on in the game, make sure to have red trinket to help easily spot her out in fights, providing you a free window to easily kill her or force her to R out of fights.
Detailed Tips

Respect Evelynn’s Level 1 - This is by far one of Renekton's easiest matchups, however her Level 1 is actually really crazy. Renekton's weak level 1 means Evelynn will look to exploit it by cheesing with bushes and spamming her Q level 1. Make sure not to get baited into fighting her with your own ego, otherwise she will kill you and can actually snowball the game. For Level 1, focus on your wave clear with Q, try to give up CS if she is being hyper aggressive and wait for level 3 to cruise through the lane.

Abuse Your Early Game - In this match up Renekton is essentially able to do whatever he simply wants. With that said, really hone into your strong early to mid game strengths to help you dominate and win the game. Play to deny your enemy of gold and xp, play to proxy and generally lead any top side skirmishes with your insane lane advantage.

Quick Trades - E > Q > AA > W > AA > E Out / E > Q > W > E - These combos allow for Renekton to get quick damage off in being able to keep health up and whittling his opponent down, use these to get your laner low and look for a low HP kill with flash.

Respect Her Charm - Evelynn's Charm is a really cheesy and crazy ability in the fact that, if she uses it onto you she can burst you down with you losing up to 35%-45% Magic Reduction, while also being able to use her E to gain additional max HP damage and movement speed to kite out after her combo. Overall, the best thing to do is simply try to walk away from her charm using your tower or dashes to avoid her charm proc, otherwise she can burst you down and leave you in a problematic scenario.

Ping Her Roams - Outside of her laning ability, the scariest thing to deal with against Evelynn is her roams. Evelynn's roam's with her level 6 powerspike are S+ Tier strong in lower MMR, in which that's how she will try to get ahead. Try to always ping Evelynn's whereabouts as soon as she is missing, try to also plant a control ward outside of the midlane bushes to potentially spot her out.

Respect Her R - Evelynn R is another ability that must be respected at all times, due to its surprisingly strong and crazy usage as an ability. Evelynn's R works based off missing HP, meaning the lower HP you are the more damage it will be dealing. With that said, overstaying vs Evelynn is absolutely a death sentence, so any time you're in the lane or game with close to no HP, Evelynn will be trying to bait you into fighting her. The best thing to do vs Evelynn R is just try to avoid this situation with your HP and try to ping your teammates not to overstay under any circumstance.

Heavy Trades - Being that Renekton carries a lot of high damage, Renekton is able to just jump on his target nearly at will. Whenever your laners present you with the ability to jump on them, simply take the opportunity to burst them as much as you can. If you didn't kill them already from that, use your options of freezing or your tower diving ability to help you finish off your opponent.

Build Hexdrinker, Mercury Treads, Eclipse, Stridebreaker or BoTRK - Go Hexdrinker to lower Evelynn’s overall damage and have a MR shield / Go Mercury Treads to lower Evelynn’s overall damage and CC duration. / Go Eclipse for consistent power through mid game and damage mitigation with the shield. / Go Stridebreaker to cripple Evelynn’s mobility and provide teammates with additional utility. / Go BoTRK to one shot and snowball with a damage focused build.

Mid Game + Teamfighting Tips - The main aspect of this match up is essentially preventing Evelynn from trying to assassinate your teammates. The objective for Renekton is trying to carry through the usage of his pings, to help provide his teammates with the alert of Evelynn’s whereabouts. This can obviously be difficult in lower elos, so just make sure you do at least hard ping wherever Eve can be, or alternatively use control wards on your side of the map to help spot out and prevent Evelynn’s chances of killing your team. When it comes to team fights where Evelynn uses her charm on your carry, try to walk in front of them and peel Evelynn away from reaching them. You can also use red trinkets or control wards to spot her in her stealth, making her a free target to jump on to force her R leaving her in a very vulnerable position. Furthermore, if you manage to jump on her auto pilioting towards your team, try to go for the one shot on her with your full combo to burst her out before she can disengage with R.
