Matchup Summary
Fiora's gameplay is entirely dictated off her vital passive, which allows her to win out on trades and duels if she's able to hit that location of the vital. When playing vs Fiora, try to always position away from her hitting the vital, as this allows her to easily get winning trades. Instead, try to use your movement to move away from the side she's trying to hit, or use walls to prevent her from hitting the vital location. Another trick you can do is by completely walking away from her vital range, providing you the ability to get a better vital position. When fighting Fiora, always let her W first as this allows you to avoid getting stunned by her own W. Once Fiora uses her W, Renekton can use his W right after to negate the attack speed slow as well as applying his damage back. Once you figure out her W pattern, Renekton can completely mind game her by using W first or activating W and walking into her, baiting out her W to win the fight. Later on Fiora eventually will have the damage to win, although Renekton's role should be to use his lead within figths or objective timings, while making sure to cover the side lanes well enough by his own admission or his team to prevent her from taking free towers.

Respect Her Passive - Fiora's biggest strength across her kit is simply hitting her passive procs, if Fiora manages to hit her passive she is able to obtain true damage, healing and movement speed against her target. The skill factor in this matchup is trying to avoid her passive at all costs, we can do this in a number of ways: Running out of her passive range to reapply a better vital spawn - Positioning the vital onto the opposite side of Fiora - Using the terrain to prevent Fiora from hitting that vital. Overall if you do any of these it will aid you in 1v1 allowing you to easily deal with her.

Respect And Punish Her Q - Fiora's Q works in a way where if she hits a target with her Q, it refunds her Q CD by 50%. For example, if she hits her rank 1 Q onto you, it will be 6.5 seconds instead of 13. If Fiora ever misses her Q by accidently using it on a dying minion, being out of range of hitting you, or trying to use it to disengage, you should try to punish it at all costs as she loses out on a lot of consistent damage.

Abuse Renekton's Q - Renekton Q is a huge tool in this match up as it's able to consistently poke down Fiora HP, while also allowing you to out shove Fiora and reach level up spikes a lot faster. Early in the lane you can use it to trickle down her HP to set up a kill, and use the level up timers to abuse taking W or E to force a big trade off. If Fiora loses too much HP early she is unable to do anything and you can dive her with ease if you play it properly.

Respect And Outplay Fiora's W - The next biggest skill indicator in this matchup is essentially outplaying her W. This is the biggest and most fun mindgame of the lane, which essentially can make or break a 1v1.To outplay Fiora W make sure to study how she uses it, sometimes they use it at the start of the fight, after you E, middle of a fight, or as late as possible. Depending on how consistent she is using it, this can allow you to either W before or after her own. At most hold W and play around your vitals, she won't ever get you low enough in the 1v1 unless she is hitting them and if you W into her stun.

Respect And Deny Fiora R - Fiora R is a giant dueling tool to help her win her 1v1's, however the way she has to play it is very complicated, especially vs a champion such as Renekton. Just like the first point, do NOT let her get her Vitals, simply hold one side of the wall or walk on the opposite side of her to create awkward angles for her. If she is unable to hit them, she loses so much damage alongside the fact she cannot get her healing after hitting them all.

Play Waves Accordingly - Simply assess whether or not you want to play for freeze, to help you deny XP and CS, while presenting yourself more opportunities to create fights. Or, play to shove waves to create proxy angles, tempo resets or create a dive opportunity. Renekton has all the cards to do whatever he wants with wave management. Also respect that if your laner tries to proxy, simply proxy back or coordinate a kill on them with your jungler.

Abuse Renekton's R Powerspike - Renekton's R Powerspike is simply too much for Fiora to play around, especially if she uses R on Renekton. While Fiora is trying to proc her R vitals, her HP will be absolutely melting from Renekton's raw R damage, on top of him having too many stats for Fiora to successfully shred against (Until later at least). Use Renekton R to hard statcheck Fiora, each time she tries to force a hard fight.

3 Points Q > W Max - Honestly Q max into E isn't bad into Fiora, but the idea that Renekton can get 3 W's before Fiora can even get hers is such a disgusting advantage for dueling, meaning you always have a W ready for the situation Fiora puts you into. Simply max this if you're hard snowballing vs Fiora or you simply just want to have an easy time in being able to deal with her.

Build Plated Steelcaps, Eclipse, Black Cleaver or BoTRK - Go Plated Steelcaps to lower her overall damage and utilize the movement speed vs Fiora's movement, / Build Eclipse, Black Cleaver or BoTRK - Go Eclipse for consistent power through mid game and damage mitigation with the shield. / Go Black Cleaver for additional CDR and other versatile stats for utility based gameplay. / Go BoTRK to one shot and snowball with a damage focused build.

Mid Game + Teamfighting Tips - Fiora's job later on in the game is abusing her insanely strong side laning and dueling power. Fiora can easily take towers with ease the longer a game goes on, while her damage also gets ridiculously strong with how much true damage she is able to apply onto her opponents. Renekton's job vs Fiora is to make sure she is put really hard behind from denying overall CS, kills and tower gold. As the game progresses, try to always clear side lanes and try to defend pushes from Fiora. Sometimes if you're fed you may need to join the rest of the game and negate side lane vs Fiora. In these situations if you don't have TP, tell your teammate to play side lane to cover the lane while you can use your lead on the map. Alternatively try to kill Fiora off the side lane solo or with your team, so then you're able to force fights or objectives with her off the map.
