Detailed Tips

1. 01

   Level 1 E Start - Try to cheese PTA proc or Conq with E1 > 3 auto's > disengage with E2.

   Play For Level 2/3 Kill Angle - Once you chunk out Miss Fortune you're most likely able to kill her with your W, Dash or Flash up. Look to shove the wave around your kill timer, so you're able to make Miss Fortune lose a lot more.

3. 03

   Respect Miss Fortune’s Q - MF’s Q, allows her to do a decent amount of damage towards her target, while executed minions will bounce her Q to the opposite side target dealing bonus damage. Make sure to avoid standing behind low HP minions, as MF Q can chunk your HP out. If MF doesn’t bounce her Q onto you, she won’t really have any real resistance against Renekton to beat him.

   Abuse Renekton's Early Game - In this match up Renekton is essentially able to do whatever he simply wants. With that said, really hone into your strong early to mid game strengths to help you dominate and win the game. Play to deny your enemy of gold and xp, play to proxy and generally lead any top side skirmishes with your insane lane advantage.

   Play Waves Accordingly - Simply assess whether or not you want to play for freeze, to help you deny XP and CS, while presenting yourself more opportunities to create fights. Or, play to shove waves to create proxy angles, tempo resets or create a dive opportunity. Renekton has all the cards to do whatever he wants with wave management. Also respect that if your laner tries to proxy, simply proxy back or coordinate a kill on them with your jungler.

   Heavy Trades - Being that Renekton carries a lot of high damage, Renekton is able to just jump on his target nearly at will. Whenever your laners present you with the ability to jump on them, simply take the opportunity to burst them as much as you can. If you didn't kill them already from that, use your options of freezing or your tower diving ability to help you finish off your opponent.

   Avoid Miss Fortune’s R - MF’s R can do a giant amount of damage no matter what build she goes, therefore being a core ability we need to avoid in crucial fights. When MF is 1v1, she cannot really utilise a good R against Renekton due to his dashes, as well his ability to easily cancel her R with his W. MF will typically use R if you’re running away from her, or she will hold it for any skirmishes or teamfights, using to zone or shred any slowed or stunned targets. If you can always avoid fighting in her R, she won’t be able to really leverage anything on to you or your teammates.

   Build Eclipse, Stridebreaker or Profane - Go Eclipse for consistent power through mid game and damage mitigation with the shield. / Go Stridebreaker to cripple Miss Fortune's mobility and provide teammates with additional utility. / Go Profane for full damage focused playstyles.

9. 09

   Mid Game + Teamfighting Tips - Solo lane MF is absolutely horrible as a pick, especially into Renekton that can essentially kill her with any fight at will. MF’s only hope of being a useful pick will be based around her using her R properly, to help provide an abundance of damage towards any stunned or clumped up targets. Most often MF will use her R absolutely horribly unless the team comp suits her, so make sure to always respect the enemies potential CC comps around MF R, otherwise she will be able to have maximum value. Within team fights, try to instantly dash onto MF and look to one shot her instantly with your overall damage and combo. MF cannot ever defend against Renekton’s damage, so make sure to abuse her lack of self peel and use it to instantly eliminate her from the fight. If MF is already so behind, you can just opt into killing other important targets on her team.
