Detailed Tips

1. 01

   Respect His Passive - Level 1, Teemo will most typically hide in the centre of the lane trying to utilise his invisible passive. Play with caution, and let him come out first and let his attack speed buff fall off.

   Level 1 E Start - Try to cheese PTA proc or Conq with E1 > 3 auto's > disengage with E2.

   Play For Level 2/3 Kill Angle - Once you start E and chunk out Teemo, you're most likely able to kill him With Flash up. Teemo is very squishy early, the only thing to really note is that if you're going for your lethal trade, make sure to hold W after he blinds, so once you're out of blind you can one shot him with an empowered W and secure the kill.

   Play Around Teemo Blind - Teemo blind is Teemo's only saving grace in the match up. If he blinds you, he can return a lot of auto attacks and kite you out while you're taking a lot of damage. Usually you try to keep your HP up by doing short trades with E > Q > AA or E > Q > E, then eventually when his HP is lower and his mana is overall lower, you can look for the kill by holding W after his blind.

   Quick Trades - Quick Trades - E > Q > AA > W > AA > E Out / E > Q > E Q E - Depending on if Teemo wastes blind, like the last point just do quick E Q trades to chip off his HP, then look for a longer trade once he is in lethal range around 30-40% HP.

   Rush Mercury Treads - Going Mercs into Teemo is practically a free win as you're able to cut his blind duration by a large amount, while also being able to keep up with Teemo's mobility. Build these to have a much easier time into the match up.

   Don't Hard Chase Teemo - Teemo W is a very annoying ability that can help him kite away and hard trade against you if you make a mistake. Like I already mentioned, mana burning his abilities is important. Stick to short trades, then look for the kill when he is in lethal range.

8. 08

   Respect Teemo's Shrooms - An obvious point, but obviously sometimes people don't respect the utility Teemo shrooms provide. While Teemo shrooms can poison his targets, it can also slow on top of also applying item passive effects. These item effects can be very deadly the later the game goes, so make sure to buy a red trinket post 6 and kill off any shrooms Teemo places for you and your team.

   Abuse Renekton's R Powerspike - Prior to this point in the match up, if Renekton has farmed safely and rushed defensive boots in the match up, Renekton is now ready to fight his opponent in an all in. Renekton's high base damage and stats from his R, allows Renekton to completely stat check his counter match up. Simply wait for the enemy to make a mistake, then go all out and kill your opponent.

    Build Hexdrinker, Eclipse, Stridebreaker or Profane - Go Hexdrinker to lower Teemo's overall damage and have a MR shield / Go Eclipse for consistent power through mid game and damage mitigation with the shield. / Go Stridebreaker to cripple Teemo's mobility and provide teammates with additional utility / Go Profane for full damage focused playstyles.

    Mid Game + Teamfighting Tips - At this point of the game Teemo will be playing to plant Shrooms on each objective side of the map, in which red trinket is absolutely vital for this point of the game. Make sure to kill off his shrooms around objectives, make sure to also use red trinket to spot Teemo hiding in his passive. In fights, Teemo doesn't typically play a huge factor other than blinding carry targets. Try to one shot him out of the fight if he's in range, then play to kill the rest of his carries.
