Detailed Tips

   Respect Twitch Level 1 Cheese - Level 1 Twitch will most likely take Q to try and cheese your mid lane or try to invade with his team. Try to ping caution towards your team level 1, just in case they don’t respect Twitch gank. Twitch will even stay long enough after the minion waves to perform his cheesy antics, so make sure to ping extra and abuse Twitch’s wave state to make him miss any CS or XP.

   E Start Level 1 - Level 1 E Start - Try to cheese PTA proc or Conq with E1 > 3 auto's > disengage with E2.

   Play For Level 2/3 Kill Angle - Once you chunk out Twitch you're most likely able to kill him with your W, Dash or Flash up. Look to shove the wave around your kill timer, so you're able to make Twitch lose a lot more.

   Abuse Renekton’s Early Game - Abuse Renekton's Early Game - In this match up Renekton is essentially able to do whatever he simply wants. With that said, really hone into your strong early to mid game strengths to help you dominate and win the game. Play to deny your enemy of gold and xp, play to proxy and generally lead any top side skirmishes with your insane lane advantage.

   Play Waves Accordingly - Play Waves Accordingly - Simply assess whether or not you want to play for freeze, to help you deny XP and CS, while presenting yourself more opportunities to create fights. Or, play to shove waves to create proxy angles, tempo resets or create a dive opportunity. Renekton has all the cards to do whatever he wants with wave management. Also respect that if your laner tries to proxy, simply proxy back or coordinate a kill on them with your jungler.

6. 06

   Ping Twitch roams - As already mentioned Twitch’s whole playstyle will essentially just result in him roaming the map to try and get a lead, as he can absolutely do nothing vs Renekton earlier on in the game. Try to always ping his whereabouts, spam on top of your teammates if Twitch is missing so they can respect his roaming status.

   Respect Twitch’s Build Damage - The only real threat towards Renekton is much later on in the game if Twitch is able to get the items he needs. If Twitch opts into crit based damage, make sure to build Randiun’s Omen to completely counter his crit playstyle and allow yourself to dive him in fights with ease. If Twitch goes AP, building Kaenic can help you avoid his high AP burst damage.

8. 08

   Build Eclipse, Stridebreaker or Profane - Go Eclipse for consistent power through mid game and damage mitigation with the shield. / Go Stridebreaker to cripple Twitch’s mobility and provide teammates with additional utility. / Go Profane for full damage focused playstyles.

9. 09

   Mid Game + Teamfighting Tips. Heavy Trades - Twitch as a champion is pretty particularly easy to shut down as Renekton, outside of having a heavy shield utility support like Lulu, but even that isn’t enough to stop Renekton’s presence from shutting down Twitch. Most typically Twitch will try to flank fights with his Q and then play off his AOE damage from runaan’s to shred your teammates. Renekton’s role in the fight is to simply aim to jump on Twitch and one shot him with your W from the fight. Before any major fight, try to use a red trinket to spot him out and allow your team to get the initial jump on him.
